Delete your account

For the Sojourn app (Sojourn: Ambient Realms) by Gallantin.

You can delete your Sojourn account, and everything synced to it, whenever you like. There are two ways to do it. Both remove the same data.

From inside the app

This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately.

Open Sojourn and go to the Profile tab.
Find the account panel, marked LINKED, showing the email you signed in with.
Tap DELETE ACCOUNT, then tap again to confirm.

Your account is removed at that moment and you are signed out. It cannot be undone.

By email

If you have already uninstalled the app, or cannot reach Settings, write to support@sojournrealms.com from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We reply within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of the request. We may need to confirm that the request came from you before we delete anything.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes, from our servers:

Your email address and the account itself, along with your name if you signed in with Google.
Your visit record: the days you visited, how often you opened each door, your wander log, and your total listening time.
Doors you marked as favourites.
Galleries and playlists you built.
The intention you chose in the opening ritual.

The account is hard-deleted rather than hidden, and the records attached to it are removed with it. Anything still held in a backup is purged within 30 days.

What stays, and why

Data on your own device. Your local copy, your chosen wanderer name, app preferences, and any doors you downloaded stay on the phone until you uninstall the app. Uninstalling clears them.
Your subscription. The Key is billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it in Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions as well, or it will keep renewing.
Purchase records. Apple, Google, and our billing provider keep their own transaction records for their legal and accounting obligations. Those are governed by their policies, not ours, and we cannot delete them on your behalf.

Deleting part of your data, and keeping the account

You do not have to delete the whole account to get rid of something. Inside the app you can remove any gallery or page you built, and unmark any door you favourited, and that removal syncs.

For anything you cannot reach yourself, write to support@sojournrealms.com from the email address on the account and name what you want removed. Your wander log, your visit history, a particular gallery, or the intention you chose in the opening ritual can each be deleted on their own, and your account and everything else stays as it is. Same reply window as above: within 2 business days, done within 30 days.

If you never made an account

Sojourn works fully as a guest, and a guest's activity never leaves the device. If you have not signed in, there is nothing of yours on our servers, and uninstalling the app removes everything.
